The couple’s brief for their 1BHK was to create a space which is modern, accessible and luxurious. Every room has a different story to tell yet they are alike in a way or so, keeping in mind the colour schemes, space utilisation, furniture selections.
What’s most impressive about the home, architecturally, is that luxury is infused with warmth and simplicity. In the living area, an expansive family room, with wooden batten ceiling, opens up to the outdoors with lush landscape.
The lounge has a colour scheme of black and whites, a very busy tiled floor with playful furniture and grey walls to balance the aesthetics of the space.
Inspired from the tropics, the bar is designed with the muted tones of greens and gold on to the accessories to enhance the space.
It’s the restrained design sensibility paired with an exquisite colour and material palette that impresses you right away.
The bedroom is a cocoon of comfort despite being generously proportioned with large walk-in closet and luxurious bathroom. But it is the bedroom that bring out the pastiche aesthetics of the villa, one of the most spacious rooms in the house, it mimics the grandeur of a high-end hotel suite without compromising on the need for a warm, homely ambiance.
