At the heart of the home, the traditional courtyard has been converted into a double-height living room with a glass brick roof. Natural light floods the space through a skylight, while Oorja pendant lights enhance its semi-outdoor character at night.
The dining area, separated by a custom console adorned with artwork, features a Sunday dining table and West Elm brass pendant light. Complementary elements like a crimson artwork and traditional carpet unify the living and dining zones.
The flooring juxtaposes warm terracotta clay tiles with sleek Italian marble, bridging traditional and contemporary aesthetics. Wood accents and brass details add warmth, creating an understated luxury throughout the home.
The ground-floor parents’ room emphasizes simplicity and functionality, with grey marble and wood accents in the bathroom. The staircase with wooden and brass railings leads to a flexible upper-floor family study overlooking the living room.
The upper-floor master bedroom doubles as a retreat and informal lounge. Beige striped wallpaper, herringbone consoles, wooden rafters, and a pop of orange in the bean bag chair create a balance of elegance and playfulness, with flexibility for gatherings.
The children’s room combines functionality with fun, featuring bunk beds, LEGO-inspired storage, and a bold Mondrian-style bathroom. Every element reflects Indian craftsmanship, making the home a sanctuary where old and new coexist harmoniously.
